I flew all the way from South Carolina to try the new spring menu created with Chef Art. To say it was worth it is an understatement. I had the best flavored wings. The perfect Mac and Cheese. Phenomenal French onion soup and over the top truffle fries. The hidden alley dining was spectacular and well maintained in accordance to all the covid rules. I was absolutely impressed and I highly recommend that you try the place out too.
A family owned and operated, Pastry Heaven. Croissants, twice-baked croissants, danishes, beignets, muffins, napoleons—all of it is delicious and really exceptional. On top of that, the prices are fair if not cheaper than usual. This place knows how to keep faithful customers. The staff is dedicated, friendly, and I might add, uncommonly patient. Some of the most abrasive and entitled socialites of La Jolla descend upon this place, but it doesn’t matter because the staff treats everyone with the utmost kindness and professionalism. You won’t find a better bakery in San Diego period.
Excellent service. I ordered a mixture of fruit tarts & cake slices online from the French bakery section for delivery. They were all delicious! Definitely recommend this place! Very professional & friendly service, as 1 item from my order was no longer available, but I was contacted by the restaurant & Max was super helpful & provided substitute options. So a special thanks to Max for his generosity and excellent customer skills!
The absolute best pastry, baked goods, quiche and French food in town! You will not find a better croissant in San Diego, and if you spend 5 min inside you’ll hear each customer rave about the quiche.
Lovely owner is often there with his fantastic French accent, the the service is always spot on with a smile.
I’ve meant to write this review for years. Truly the best!
These people now how to do French patisserie properly. Everything is so delicious and their prices are extremely reasonable. You'll pay more at other newer cutesy places but the product is better here. Flaky, crispy, delicate pastries!
