The teachers are caring, loving experienced educators. They engage the students in a form of learning by play. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Phone calls are returned promptly in the rare occasion that they go to voicemail; they usually pick up by the first or second ring. Bob, the owner, is friendly and knows each child by name. He is on site daily and his participatory style of operating the school makes things run smoothly. The facility is immaculately clean inside and out. My grandson loved it there and still misses his teachers but was well prepared for kindergarten upon graduation.

Over the last 4 years, my daughter has attended The Goddard School in Yorktown. Through every transition to the next class, every drop-off, parent-teacher conference, and most certainly through this pandemic -- my family has become deeply rooted in this community. One grounded in safety, growth, education, compassion, patience, and most certainly love.
While my daughter has most certainly excelled in foundational lessons, more importantly, she has learned empathy, friendship, caring, trust and confidence. Yes, she knows her colors and numbers, can write her name, and many other things. But she is the first child to hug a crying friend; she stands up not only for herself but also for others, and she is always willing to lend a helping hand. And as I would love to take all credit, her time at The Goddard School has instilled principles of being a good person and has given her the tools to excel in school and the community.

We have been at The Goddard-Yorktown for over 3 years and have always had a positive experience. The teachers, director, assistant director and owner are all wonderful! My child has thrived and will continue to do so until Kindergarten. After searching for so long years ago, we made the right choice by choosing Goddard, hands down the best staff and school in Hampton Roads. The only negative is we can't stay for elementary 😪!

We recently got a 2 person infrared sauna from Neosauna. I was blown away at how easy it was to install. It took my husband and I about 30 minutes start to finish. We both absolutely love it. We put it in our home office and were very surprised at how much it accented the space. I would highly recommend them to anyone even considering it!!

Hands down the best infrared sauna I have ever used. I have a 3 person “Reflect” model and I cant say enough good about it. I have an orthopedic and sports medicine acupuncture clinic and recommend these saunas to all of my patients. I see great anti inflammatory and anti stress benefits every session. I sleep better and my brain feels clearer since using the sauna. Mandie and Damian are very knowledgeable and are in this business to authentically help people. The product is awesome and the people who run the company are awesome. Worth every penny and more.

We got our Neosauna after feeling constantly tired and unable to find a remedy. The sauna came well packaged and was easy to get started with assembly. Assembly was a cinch, my wife and I did so in under two hours. Using the sauna has given us added vitality to tackle the day. Sometimes I’ll go in towards the end of the night. As someone with sleeping issues, this is the one clean way to hit the sack. Normally I’ll take NyQuil or Melatonin to help me sleep, but 30-60 minutes in the sauna is great prep for a relaxed sleep. The built in Bluetooth speakers allow me to match my mood with music, or put on a good podcast. Other benefits I’ve noticed we’re going in once I feel a cold coming on. The last two times I did, I haven’t really come down with anything. Lastly, my father, a cancer survivor, has really enjoyed the benefits of sauna.

My experience with Neosauna has been life changing in 2017 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and with some other protocols I have Incorporated this into my daily routine it made such a difference in removing the toxins and free radicals the pink salt panels have improved my breathing and honestly there have been days where I felt like I was coming down with a virus and after sitting in the sauna for 30 minutes that sick feeling was gone and I felt refreshed and invigorated I believe that it is the best way to maintain good health it's hard to describe that very clean feeling from the inside out until you've experienced it with this sauna I can't imagine my life without it also we had room to set it up in one corner of our garage making it cozy and private I love it!!!!

I have only used this sauna once (a friends house) and I was totally blown away. I was pouring sweat and I can’t describe how good it felt. Feels like every cell in my body opens up and awakens. Listening to tunes on the bluetooth speakers and the ambiance lighting, make for a super relaxing experience. Once my session was over and I got out, it felt like I just ran a 10k. I wasn’t sore though. Just that same after a long run feeling. If you’re a runner, you know the feeling. I loved it. A nice cool shower was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend it. Hopefully I’ll have one of these installed in my house soon. Cheers!

If you are looking for a safe, clean, and caring environment for your child, look no further! The Goddard School has the best childcare program on the Peninsula. The Director and teachers are all friendly and patient with the kids and parents. My daughter enjoys going to school every day and within a year, I have seen her excel in her language, cognitive, and motor skills. She loves to read, play, sing and dance with her friends and teachers. Since the first day I walked into the Goddard School, I knew it was going to be the best place for my daughter. A year has passed and the school continues to provide exceptional care and lives up to high quality standards. I HIGHLY recommend the Goddard School to any parent looking for a safe and caring environment!

My son started at the Goddard School in Yorktown when he was 8 weeks old while I finished my doctoral dissertation. From the first day we visited, to his first day at school, to now more than a year later my son has loved and excelled being at Goddard. All of the teachers have been welcoming and helpful. The staff is conscious about all of the kids and create an environment where learning and fun go together. My sons verbal and physical skills have been and continue to be advanced for his age and we attribute this to the wonderful environment at Goddard. I would recommend the Goddard school to any parent looking for a great daycare.
