  Nowadays it feels like a lot of businesses do not fully understand how to, or care to, earn their customer base.
  
  This place is not one of those.
  
  Last night after a very long day of work my pregnant wife asked me to pick up Souplantation on my way home as she was having a craving.
  
  I got two to go boxes (didn't know they had those!) and when I got to the front of the line they said their card system was down. They told me to finish getting my food and come back when I was done to pay.
  
  Five minutes later I came back to pay but the system was still down. The manager, Jessica, came over to say the system should be coming back up soon. She could tell I was a little squirmy and asked if I was in a rush. I told her my pregnant wife was at home waiting for the food. She immediately told me to go home and come back and pay another day.

  Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding. I will always remember your location, and you, for helping me take care of my wife and unborn child. I'll see you soon to square up my tab and look forward to coming in a lot more often (with another mouth to feed soon).
  
  Oh yeah, forgot to mention the food was the best of any Souplantation I have ever been to. Keep up the great work guys,

  We dine at the Souplantation in Rancho Bernardo once in a while. It offers a pleasant atmosphere and is clean and well organized. The restaurant offers a good variety of salads, soups, pastas and bakery items as well as ice cream. They do a great job keeping everything stocked up. One complaint: several years ago they had an area which included a better variety of fruit and items such as puddings, etc. which was removed and we miss. Also, they used to hand out fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and even sold the dough for home baking. Would love to see their cookies in the regular bakery section for dessert.

  I just love this place. My family and I come here all the time the staff is so incredibly sweet, especially the manager she's so nice. And all the table clearers I really nice too. the food is really good and they have plenty of vegetarian options, some vegan options too, but not as many. But, there are many things like baked potatoes and salads and an array of dressings and different desserts and soups that you can veganize or already come vegan.

  I love to go to Souplantation all the time because of their delicious and healthy salad. Vegetables used are always fresh and of the best quality. There are also a variety of soup. My fave is chicken soup. It has chunky chicken and noodles.

  Always a great place to get soup, salad and a select variety of other food. The salad bar always appeared fresh and I love the chicken noodle soup. Their macaroni and cheese is also superb. The restaurant is big, so you rarely have to wait for a seat. Other than that, it is your standard buffet, but with much better quality of food.
