Well carved steps. No trouble with 4 young kids. Pretty steep! Not for the weak.
There is an impressive variety of climbing opportunities in our backyard living in San Diego- the hike up this tail is a workout before you even get to the crags, but it is well kept and makes for a nice morning of hiking and climbing.
Really good trail, and nice climbs for outdoors. Really hot in the sun, but this is shaded entirely in the morning so it's nice and cool. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area
The go to spot for my friends and I since we were kids!!! Tons of area to explore and take in nature, while you have a leisurely exercise!! I would recommend for novice hikers, and those not looking for a grueling workout, like compared to Cowles Mountain.
Five stars because of rock climbing...
Rock climbing here is decent but love that it's right here in the city. Quick drive. Easy assent. Great for a quick climbing trip.
