“Such a little gem in Tierrasanta! We've only been a few times, but it's hours of fun. There's not much shade and it fills up fast since there is a low capacity number. It's $3 per person I believe. Anyone under 4 has to wear a swim diaper. The water is no deeper than two feet and it's at a perfect angle for babies to splash in too. Can't recommend this place enough. There's plenty of parking that's shaded. There's a cute little park. So plenty to explore on a summer's day.”

“I can safely say that De portola Middle School is one of the better schools in San Diego. I attended De Portola middle school middle school as a child, and am now currently working there. De Portola has a large amount of funding for clubs & elective classes compared to other San Diego schools. Currently they have just been awarded a very large robotics grant and next year will have a teacher dedicated to teaching just that. I've worked all over the San Unified School District, and they are one of the only middle schools that I've worked at the district that still has a wide variety of elective classes for the students to choose from. The Administration team is one of the most professional that I've worked with. Rigid enough to command the respect of both students, parents, and staff alike, yet at the same they are still laid back enough to feel comfortable being yourself around. This may not seem like much to Someone who is not a teacher, but De Portola is one of the only schools where I've noticed the bulk of the staff actually eating together all in a single group in the break room . Everybody seems to look out for one another, and is not afraid to respectfully and tactfully bring attention to aspects of one another that could be worked on. After both my experience as a staff member an a student, I've love my experience at De Portola middle school”

“We love this swim program! My daughter did it last year, when she was 2 yrs old, and learned so much. At first, she was afraid to be swimming without us around, but instantly became comfortable with Breena. Now, we are currently taking classes again, and my daughter remembered everything from last year. She was so excited all year, to finally swim with Breena again. Breena is amazing, she is patient & kind & will forever be our daughters swim instructor. Jamie, the owner is easy to communicate with & schedule classes with. We definitely recommend them to everyone! Don’t forget to book in advance, as they fill up quickly, for their sessions.”
