Amalfi Cucina Italiana - San Marcos

Very nice Italian restaurant in San Marcos. They offer quite a bit of gluten free options.

Pasta was really good — pizza was quick and delicious.

Wines were mediocre and not good, hence the rating.

This place is on the water and really nice. Highly recommend.

Very nice place by the lake with beautiful Mountain views. Their burrata is amazing and pizza tasted very authentic. Italian risotto with mushrooms and truffle was great and dessert didn’t disappoint. Stuff was helpful and friendly. Such a great experience. We will be definitely coming back.

The restaurant is beautiful with great views. They have different pasta options and sauces to choose from. The sauce on my pasta was light but very good. I enjoyed my cocktail as well ( capri spritz). The parking was not so great. Highly recommend to try this place.

The service was so excellent and view is beautiful. In the evening, the fountain dances and lights up in the middle of the lake. The food was savory, but the pesto was a bit of a disappointment. It is made with pistachio and arugula instead of basil which was less than satisfying. However, the scalloped were cooked beautifully. The lobster ravioli was creaming and surprisingly filling!

Visited with my bestie and his mom. The atmosphere is very nice. It was too cold to sit outdoors but the views are still great.
We ordered the artichoke appetizer and it was out of this world!
We also got the soup of the day, one of the salads (had goat cheese in it), 2 pizzas.
We were all very happy with this meal. A bit on the pricey side but worth it!
