Sanguinetti Sensei is a treasure in the world of Martial Arts. His knowledge and experience has led him to a place of understanding and compassion: some of the highest attributes of the Warrior-Scholar i know him to be.

Superb instruction in a traditional Japanese Dojo. Sensei Sanguinetti has 50 years experience in the martial arts. He learned first hand from Sensei Matayoshi in Okinawa the art of Matayoshi Kobudo. He learned first hand Goju-Ryu Karate following the direct line from Chojun Miyagi in Okinawa. Sensei Robinson is incredibly helpful. And all the practitioners I have met are supportive in a family atmosphere. My three daughters, wife, son and myself have all taken classes and there isn't any other Dojo that I would venture could come close in Southern California.

Studying Goju Ryu Karate and Matayoshi Kobudo is a complete experience at Bushikan. It doesn't take long to understand why people come from around the world to learn here. Anyone looking for a dojo dedicated to Okinawan traditions and customs, this is a place for you. I could tell you why after years of searching and trying other places I can't imagine training anywhere else, but its best for you to come see for yourself. You start learning the moment you show up!

There are a lot of good places to learn Karate in the area. They all offer quality instruction.
What makes Bushikan special is the positive focus and positive reinforcements. This dojo is great for kids. They are involved in their local community and have been around longer than most facilities. If you have little ones, this is the place to start.
