The Acne Spot

REVIEW UPDATE (1 YEAR LATER!):
I'm elated with how far my skin has come since I started seeing Lan (my esthetician) at The Acne Spot a year ago. I can't thank her enough for helping me through this journey and I'm still shocked at how amazing my skin is now compared to when I started.

I want to say I was pretty much "acne free" within 7-8 months. At that point, I was promoted to the Clear Skin Program from the Acne Program, where we worked on my next goals, which was to reduce pigmentation and improve texture of my skin. Since then, Lan curated a new plan for me for my visits moving forward and now more than ever my skin is glowing and I am consistently being complimented on my skin by friends and family.

I'm officially moving into the Taylor'd Skin side where we will continue to work on my skin texture and overall skin health (plus more "relaxing" spa-like treatments (not that my acne treatments visit before weren't relaxing!). I'm also using/incorporating new products that Lan has recommended based on my own personal goals with my skin and I trust her completely.

The entire team at The Acne Spot/Taylor'd Skin have become friends to me and I'm always excited to see them and chat with them! I highly, highly recommend these guys. Do not hesitate!

P.S. I also love following them on social media and participating in their fun giveaways + skin facts. Lan even helped me with color-matching for beauty/foundation products that they offer for acne prone skin at the studio.

(OLDER REVIEW - 1 YEAR AGO):

I started my journey with Acne Spot a few weeks ago. After trying everything else in the book to get rid of my acne (I.e curology, going to see a dermatologist - none worked), I finally learned about the benefits of seeing an esthetician and getting facials instead. I found Acne Spot through a google search and they had great reviews so I decided to take a leap of faith.

I arrived at the office and was very impressed by the facility. The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Right away I felt like I was welcomed. They always ask at every visit if I need to use the restroom or need water and they just take really good care of you.

My esthetician is Lan. I had my consult with her and she was so patient with me and my questions. Always had a friendly demeanor and really educated me about their acne products and what this journey would look like for me. We also connected so much on a personal level and I’m just so happy about that b/c I know the importance of having an esthetician who really understands your skin and can connect with you.

They provide you with a complete and comprehensive skin care guide and routine for when you go home. So far I love all of their products and my skin has really loved it. I am currently going through a light “purging” phase but even then my skin is so hydrated, plump, and I can just tell it’s working! I will definitely report back as my journey continues :)

Another shoutout to Nicole, my esthetician while Lan was on vacation. I love her so much! We also connected so much and she recommended this amazing hydrating facial for me and my skin was glowing afterwards.

I have full faith in all the staff and estheticians here after my experience with Lan and Nicole! Thank you both so much.

I’ve been going to the Acne Spot for over 4 years and I love it. I go monthly with their membership program even thought it’s a half hour drive for me! They help keep my acne under control and help me “age gracefully,” as they say. Thorough service, and very cutely decorated. Thanks Acne Spot!

The Acne Spot has helped clear my skin and treated my scarring faster than I have ever gotten results from any other skin care companies. It is a safe space that ensures you will get the clear skin you have always wanted. I highly suggest Crizel as your go to gal!

I would HIGHLY recommend the Acne Spot. I have been going for their acne program since August 2022 which helped me clear up >75% of my acne within at most two weeks!! They provide SO much helpful information on day one that helped tremendously. I have already fully cleared my acne which has been a problem most of my adult life, even with still I having to wear a mask all day at work. I have been to the Acne Spot twice now and each time has been a great experience. My estheticians have been Crizel and Ashley, and they are both terrific, incredibly knowledgable, and easy to talk to. They recommend you certain products for your skin type but are not pushy about buying them. I will for sure continue to come back!
