Ayres Hotel Vista / Carlsbad

Great stay. Pet friendly for a small fee. But well worth the comfort. Delish breakfast with all basics but a fresh omelet station and a bar ( 6pm to 10pm) great after a stressful work day

It's about 12 min I believe from Legoland but we enjoyed our stay, pool is a bit small and hot tub was warm. Rooms were clean with USB connections available. The best part was the bar and staff we could not believe how friendly and happy the bartender was to make us such special drinks. Small breakfast bar had a little bit of everything. There is also a water bottle refill station in the lobby. Will definitely return.

My first time staying at this hotel, friendly staff and hotel was super clean the staff friendly and the breakfast excellent . I will definitely comeback again. You find everything here , a gym to workout , pool, seating area and you can go for a nice walk or run. Seriously a hidden jam

Right away I was impressed with the service.
My girlfriend and I were impressed with their attentiveness and punctuality. We were also impressed with the rooms and the prices.
The bartender, (I think his name was Derek) was the most hospitable bartender I have had experience with. I am so happy with my experience here.
Personally I do not give my business to anyone without exception that does not allow my dog to be there. I was extremely impressed with how accommodating this establishment has been for me as a dog mom.
I travel for business and will only be going to this resort when in area.

Rooms were clean and have so much space. The mirror has a bright light around the frame so perfect to get ready. The tub is large enough for two people. Also love they have charging ports in all the sockets and lamps so you can charge all your devices if you have just the wire. Now the swimming pool was small yet very secluded. Only the gym has a view of the pool but they are not directly connected. You have to exit the building and the side gate is the entrance of the pool area. It's a heated pool too so nice for and evening swim. The jets in the hot tub are so strong that they push water out if you put your back against it. Also there is a outdoor shower with a hose attachment to rise yourself. The concierge was so friendly and helpful, Told us about happy hour at the bar. $2 off all drinks from 5:30-7pm and they even make pizza. They have a vast selection of beers from local breweries. The patio has a wonderful seating area with a waterfall decor and also a fire pit. And the complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious. They have to-go boxes so you can take your food up to your room. They even make omelettes for you. Of course make your own mini waffles. besides all the regular breakfast like cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, eggs, hash brown, sausage, milk, jam, cream cheese, milk & orange juice they also had peanut butter.
