Stars Montessori Academy

We’ve had a great experience at Stars. The staff and teachers are wonderful and have always been supportive and responsive with any of my concerns. It’s great that we can easily communicate through the app and I can see photos of my daughter and the activities she’s been doing that day/week. My daughter has learned so much while attending stars over the past year and a half, and she is always excited to show us what she can do.

We moved our daughter to Stars, and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. Our daughter is always super happy at pick up, the kids are playing, being kind to each other, and not "running around out of control." The school is clean, safe, and we love her teachers (shoutouts to Ms. Nancy, Ms. Erika, and Ms. Daesha!) as does she -- she will often run to give them hugs goodbye at pickup. She is always learning new things, and is constantly coming home with new art to hang up. I am not exaggerating when I say that moving her to this school has improved my life as well as hers.

From the moment we reached out, Miss Susan welcomed us with warmth and insightful information, while Miss Pennie, the principal, responded to our daily needs with professionalism and care. Their dedication, patience, and commitment have consistently impressed us.
Our daughter spent her first four years mostly at home, with limited interaction with other children, which put her a bit behind in social skills and speech. The incredible team at Stars Montessori embraced her from the start, making her feel welcomed and excited about going to school each day. Her class, especially her teacher, Miss Soghra, and Miss Jannette showed remarkable patience and consistency. It’s truly amazing how she has flourished under their care in just one year. Her progress in math and reading has been nothing short of exceptional.
Our daughter’s reading skills continue to astound us and those around her. She reads everything in sight, and her love for learning reflects the nurturing environment at Stars Montessori. Her enthusiasm for education is a testament to the school’s supportive atmosphere.
We are immensely proud of her and of our choice to enroll her in this remarkable school. Her advancement exemplifies the strength of the Montessori system and the extraordinary dedication of the entire team. The involvement of the leadership and the wholehearted commitment of the staff have been absolutely pivotal in her development.

When Lucas was about 4 we started exploring schools and since he had only been at home up until then, it was important to us that the adjustment is a positive experience. Miss Pennie was very kind and understanding and allowed us to bring Lucas on the playground several times and get used to his surroundings prior to joining full time. We still had a tough time with drop off but I will be forever grateful for all the patience and care he was shown in a busy school environment. He comes home all the time telling us what he's learned that day, all the friends he made and how much he loves his teachers. We absolutely love our time at Stars!

We have loved every minute of being at Stars! The teachers and teachers aids are patient, kind, and genuinely care about the kids. The directors, Pennie and Susan, keep a tight ship and I've felt confident with the care they provided my son. The school activities and curriculum are great and my son has learned a lot in the last year. He loves his teacher, Ms. Soghra, and she has been very open to communication whenever I had a question. I highly recommend this school - it is run well!
