I've known Jeanne Darrah through community work for twenty + years. When it came to updating our Will and Trust prior to heading out on a trip into politically questionable circumstances it was imperative that we make the changes to include the transitions in our family since the original was written twenty years ago. Jeanne was personable, thorough, timely and wise as we looked to our future. After we completed our work she also updated my 100 year old mother-in-law's estate planning documents. I highly recommend her for estate planning.

Jeanne Darrah helped us get our aging/end-of-life paperwork in order. Not something that would normally be a great pleasure, but Jeanne made it a thoughtful and meaningful experience. She starts with a long questionnaire, so we got our information together and discussed some issues ahead of time, and didn't waste a bunch of her time or our time. She then talked and listened to us for quite a while, to get a feel for our needs and priorities, so the documents she drew up are appropriate for our unusually complicated multi-generational family. She helped us with wills, a living trust, and powers of attorney for health care and for finances. She was great! I highly recommend her.

Aside from the efficient email exchanges, I also met Jeanne twice for consultations at her home office in my bernal heights neighborhood, a blessing compared to meeting a lawyer downtown. She has a lot of integrity and cares deeply about her clients and though we are a couple she made our individual wishes clearly stated.
