“I love breakfast here, but I only ever get the breakfast plate. Best crispy hashbrowns in the city hands down. Order the breakfast plate weekdays to get them (they do home fries on weekends). Eggs any style, choice of 1 sausage patty or 3 slices of crispy thick cut bacon, and choice of bread (get sourdough, duh!).”

“For photographers and 'tourist with phone cameras'. On a weekend it is best to get to this parking lot in the morning before 8am. One, there is hardly anyone in it, which allows you to get to the edge closest to the water for some beautiful photographs of the Oakland bridge and beyond. There's monitoring guard or meter agent. So you can scoot in and out of the lot without paying, if you don't stay too long. I got these shots in the morning when a drone agent was there and caught these gorgeous shots.”

“Nice little park very close from my home. Lots of benches with an amazing bay view. The views of the Bay bridge are great. The park is dog friendly. It’s not super clean though, and some of the benches smell bad.”

“Fascinating gallery housing beautiful photography collections. It is free by appointment, and definitely worth it! The images are displayed blankly, however there is the option to purchase a booklet guide that gives credit to the photographers and their images. Overall a great place to marvel at for a while as the sounds of the Bay Bridge echo overhead.”

“I've sailed with Drew and his crew at Rendezvous Charters a good dozen times over the past decade, and he's always shown us a great time, whether it's wild and wet out there, or no wind at all. There's really no such thing as a bad day on the Bay, and Rendezvous will take GREAT care of you. The crew is super personable, the boat is comfortable, and they definitely make the safety and comfort of their passengers a top priority. Pier 40 is a great place to sail out of, too--you see some of the most gorgeous scenery you'll find anywhere, sailing out under the Bay Bridge, past the San Francisco skyline, out around Alcatraz with and amazing look at the Golden Gate Bridge... it makes for a truly memorable outing.”
