There coach knows the game, he's got a great teaching style and I've really enjoyed working with him.
Coach is a great guy. All I did was text him, and we played our first lesson the next day. It's a much more interesting way to get in shape than running on a hamster wheel-- you'll look forward to working out. Very glad I reached out-- thanks Coach...
Coach is great! He's super informative about tennis and really helped my boyfriend and I learn not only the basics but helped us improve our individual techniques. He's extremely attentive and is consistently giving feeding back for improvement. He's entertaining and has a great sense of humor. My boyfriend and I enjoyed every lesson!
Yoav is a phenomenal instructor. I had played tennis for years as a youth but never as an adult. I recently started playing again and I wanted to find a coach who could help me rebuild my mechanics and footwork as I knew I had poor fundamentals.
I've been working with Yoav for a several months and it's been a true pleasure. I really appreciate that he records the sessions for both real-time video review during the lesson and analysis afterwards. I've found it to be extremely helpful to reinforce proper technique and visualize where I was making mistakes. While Yoav is really focused on progression and development, he also has a great attitude and it's always a fun time on the court. It is obvious he is truly passionate about his craft and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor.
I tell people who ask that I’m not just taking tennis lessons but learning to play tennis with all of its nuances and to a professional standard even as a beginner. Yoav drills the fundamentals, building skills incrementally. Each lesson is a progression but with a lot of variation. For example, this morning, we started with a footwork/interval training drill to develop a more powerful first move to the ball, transitioned to a volley drill focusing on coming to the net with purpose and finished with a serve return drill focused on racket preparation and an abbreviated (forehand) swing on the return. We achieve a lot in the space of 60 minutes. In addition, Yoav has and effectively utilizes the state-of-the-art tennis coaching app to record and analyze each phase of the lesson. In short, court time with Yoav is the highlight of my week.
