  I have to stop at this shop every time I am in or near the ferry building. Extensive selection of wild mushroom varieties, as well as other specialty cooking items. The staff is super friendly and will help you select the perfect mushroom for whatever type of dish you are making. Be sure to check out the refrigerated section just inside the entrance to the store as there are always some unique items to be found there (caviar limes, flash frozen huckleberries, etc.).

  What a fantastic range of fungi! And plenty of help to pick the type or types you need for your dishes. Fascinating and makes me keen to learn more. There's info on how to grow your own mushrooms and a variety of fungi products. I love that it's all organic too.

  Amazing selection! They always have huitlacoche! Winter black truffles are delish as well

  One of the most enthusiastic customer service rep in all of the ferry building. My child absolutely loves mushrooms from growing to reading about them. Ever visit the staff members are more than willing to help foster the enthusiasm of a younger person by answering questions without pushing to buy product.
  
  The shop carries a beautiful amount of seasonal read to go mushrooms. The show stoppers of the market is the grow your own kits that are always enjoyed by passerbys.

  So many options at least a dozen options, on this particular day they had 2 types of oyster mushrooms, one of which I had never seen before in retail, yellow oyster mushrooms. Both were delicious, I should have bought more that 1/2lb. My only wish is that there was a store like this closer to where I live.
