For those parents thinking that martial arts class is a day care and mix up reality with a Netflix show Cobra Kai, are absolutely wrong. Senseis like Sensei Mark have spent their entire life learning ancient disciplines to pass to new generation, the least they deserve is respect from students and parents. My son attended Manteca Martial Arts back in 2012 to 2014 and he was thought nothing but discipline, good morals like respect his parents and of course high level of martial arts. My memories are so good that now my son and daughter attend to a martial art class here in LA with a great Si Fu. Said all that, if you want your kid learn not only martial arts, but also respect and morals, go to Manteca Martial Arts.
Wow, I’m writing this review many years later but I still remember when I was around 5-6 10 years ago and used to be taught by Sensei Mark and Sensei Katie, I can still remember some of the other black belt assistants, this class was really great and I really recommend i!!!

Senseis Mark and Katie are excellent teachers in this karate dojo. MMA has both the private lessons and weekly group lessons to help me build more confidence in karate. These instructors taught me some awesome moves like punches, kicks, and blocks not only for self defense, but also for cardio workout. They had the students start with a warm-up, then they start teaching you some blocks/counterattack styles and practice them with your classmates. They have cards that have the list of moves that the instructors will teach you. The levels and the colors of the belts depend on how much karate moves you have learn. Anyway, I would recommend this dojo to kids, teens, and adults who want to have exercise and/or learn how to defend themselves.
