This is the second time I drive from Tracy to Manteca to pickup a pollo asado- grilled/smoked whole chicken, rice, beans, salsa and random prepared meat to grill. Let me tell you the pollo is well seasoned, juicy and exceptionally delicious. Last time I also had their tri tip and it was really good. I.continue to return for the chicken but let me tell you, you don't want to miss out on their carne. They season it for you on the spot, it is fresh and it tastes amazing. I don't know if this is well known place or not but I need everyone to try them out! It's too good to miss out specially since I moved from the first LA area, then the Bay and have struggled to find good authentic food. Also both times I've gone they've given me some chicken to try while I wait, and today the son walked me out to my car since I was carrying my 8 month old baby... This is the type of place we should start supporting. Try it you won't regret it. Plus you might find a new go to place for your next carne asada gathering!
