iYoga Vidya

I started doing yoga more than a year ago and have thoroughly enjoyed the class. BKS Iyengar yoga is very different from other yoga classes that I have tried. It emphasizes correct posture over simplicity. Vidya follows these principles and ensures every student does it in the right form. She does an excellent job teaching, giving instructions and correcting your forms even when the class is on Zoom. If you want to learn yoga the right way, then look nowhere else. Join this class and your body will thank you.

I started my Yoga journey with Vidya about a year back and I can't thank enough for the wonderful transformation my body and mind have gone through under her guidance. Vidya is such an amazing teacher who details every single movement that is needed for a pose. As a student, I learned to listen to my own body and understand its subtle variations. Even though the class is for an hour once a week, I get my energy and positivity for the entire week in that one hour!
When Vidya started Yoga for Kids, needless to say, I enrolled my 8-year old right away. This was my daughter's first exposure to Yoga. Vidya proved to be such an engaging teacher for kids as well, with her playful nature and storytelling art. The kids instantly got captivated and looked forward to class each week to do their Shirsasana and Sarvangasana. At the end of the first session(3 months), there was a remarkable improvement in my daughter and she could do many difficult asanas with great ease and enthusiasm.
I am really glad Vidya is our Yoga Teacher and sincerely pray the very best for Vidya!
