Parent just send their kids down to the pool unsupervised. He had 2 girls fighting a little boy. Their were kids who wouldn't get out of the pool when the lifeguards needed to take a break.
Over 50 years I've enjoyed this pool as a child, taken my children, now taking another generation. Im comfortable here.
I do want to remind the "young" lifeguards how crucial their job is to safety and life. Crucial.
How important it is to orchestrate asking is there someone who can translate spanish if it is needed when addressing safety issues with language barriers.
On top. Fair firm and consistency with all. You are the authority and the children and parents depend on you.
Update 2023
Come on young people. The swim test are so important.
And when an annoying senior citizen points it out don't look at em like they're stupid with no response. Thx
Thank you
I grew up swimming here as a child. It felt so good going with my daughter and grandchildren to hang out all three of our generations. They got to experience what I did growing up. We get to enjoy every Friday as the neighborhood get together to gather for some fun this summer. We all are looking forward for our time together. All adults pay for all the kids. I'm also looking forward to going to Stribley Park on the 30th. It also was a place I went to as a child. I wish all of Stockton would get together and enjoy one another so some other violence can disappear in our city. I'll take pictures this Friday.
A good time for the family. The pool was clean and cool. It wasn't overcrowded, and it was only 2 dollars a person. I think the hours were from 2-5:45 Saturday and Sunday. There's a playground on site as well. Great, cheap time for the family. Btw, the pool only gets about 5ft deep.
