“Took a little while before they were able to get working on repairs (apu issues). Actual repair time was about 2 hours so not too bad. They discovered a few things wrong that were not part of the main issue and fixed them too. They could do with some more informative signage. If you have a trailer, you'll need to drop it in the drop yard then bobtail back to the check in area. Also their driver lounge is not much to be honest. There was an empty room with 2 chairs, a bench and a single occupancy bathroom with a shower in it. That's it, no TV no coffee or vending machines.... Pretty boring so bring a book, magazine, tablet phone charger, something to entertain yourself with.”

“Most people commented negatively have their personal assumption/feelings clouding the facts. Before I started working for Caltrans I was negative about them as well. However, since day one I have been impressed with the dedication to the public everyone seems to share. We try day in and day out to appeal and serve the public, but they are never satisfied or appreciate what is or has been done for them. Nobody understands how much effort is needed to deliver a project. There are so many regulations and checks and balances to be met before design takes off. Not to mention feedback/input from the public. Before spreading your negative outlook think about the good. We as Americans are negative and thrive on tearing others down without seeing the other side. Appreciate what you have. “I had called in the afternoon in a panic to find a pet friendly room in anticipation of having to evacuate my home. Andrei had answered the day I called and was extremely helpful. He even offered to call at 10 pm to get an eta from me to see if I was on my way. When I got there Andrei was there and got me all set in a first floor room which was super helpful since I was juggling a toddler and 2 animals on my own. They let me extend on a day by day basis since I was unsure as to when I could go home. Will use them again if I ever have to evacuate again.”
