Costco Distribution Center

Located right off 580. There are no parking signs on the street ,however, we weren't bothered .
They start accepting check-ins at 3:45 am. You can check in an hour early after that . Very organized. Appointment at 5 ,checked in at 4:08 am . We were unloaded by 5 Am.
The only thing is I had not been here before. So, for all that haven't, here is what I learned.
Check in , ask where the door is.
I had door 30, and it is to the right.
Go to the door and break the seal back in.
Wait for a green light.
Pull out, and shut your doors.
As you start to go out , follow the direction of which you came in towards your door, following along the fence.
As I was told, follow the orange line on the ground.
Go back to the check-in area but opposite side of guard shack to check out, and they will ask what door you were in and then scan a ticket and give it to you and then you leave.

My new job. Place is Costco so I knew everything would be top notch. Friendly coworkers an a clean environment make for a happy employee

Very well organized, slow unloading

It has been very quick service in and out. The only complaint that I will have is: they should train the personnel that they have in the enter lanes and the exit, because there are very rude. They won’t let you even do your logbook. They want you to leave right away.
Especially the guy with the mustache rude guy

The staff in the guard shack were amazing. There was an issue with the appointment times on my load that was the fault of the shipper. Costco worked diligently with me to help and get this resolved. I want to thank Kimberly, the Supervisor in the guard shack for being so professional, helpful, kind and accommodating. She is an amazing representative of this Costco! Greg who was working with traffic was also a rockstar!!! When I finally was assigned a dock, Danny, the meat manager came out to my truck and personally apologized to me, and was amazing!!!
I'm at a loss for words at how kind and helpful the staff here was. Thank you Costco and please recognize these absolutely amazing employees you have!!! When I open my own company, I am taking them from you!!!
