Great place
It’s a well maintained trail and most of it covered with redwood trees. If someone prefers a shaded trail, this is the one. There is a trail for bikers too. You might spot Cayote here, at least I saw one last week. Difficulty level - Average!
Very cool and shady trail with few people, good downhill for bikes and refreshing creek at the bottom. Somewhat steep on the way back up.
Great hiking trail, it goes in a loop and has maps at the start. The trail is shaded by trees so it's great even on a hot day, but water is still a must. Beware no matter which direction you take, the trip back to the car will always be uphill! Left side leaving the road is easier to come back on than the right side. You'll see horse fly's (they bite) lizards, and maybe even rattle snakes.
