Bob helped me out when I was getting some electrical upgrades from a different contractor. He spent time to explain things for me and clearly showed his passion for his work. He ended up saving me a lot of money so I won’t hesitate to hire him for future jobs.
We had an Italian stove delivered but the installers only hooked up the gas line, not the electric which is needed for the oven. I checked on yelp and found Bob. I answered a few questions and he called immediately. We described the situation and stove and he came out that very afternoon to help us out so we could actually cook. We were so thankful for his kindness and quick response! He was clean, offered great suggestions, was very personable and did a great job. Excellent service! We will definitely use him again! Thanks again Bob! You were awesome!
Although our electrical work is still pending, I'd like to recommend Hillsborough Electric, mainly because of the time Bob spent with me understanding our needs and offering viable solutions. He is very thorough and carefully explains what the options are, on the phone and also via email.
Hillsborough Electric is a great company. Bob is super professional and his knowledge of 'all things electrical' was so appreciated. It was a relief that someone could quickly change our old wiring to LED lighting. Our house was built in the mid 50's so the bathroom ceiling was quite interesting when we removed the drywall. He worked with what we had and was able to get it done efficiently. He even had options that we could consider. We will most likely be working with him again, when our old fixtures bulbs in the downstairs bathroom fry.
I needed some electrical tape splicing replaced with a proper junction box. Bob did a great job assessing the problem then repairing and installing the junction box. He also improved the lighting situation by adding a light switch by replacing the string to turn on the light.
