  When the weather is right, there is almost nowhere in the world as lovely as Half Moon Bay, and the Miramar is in the thick of it all. The patio is a super chill place to take your well behaved dog and enjoy a Sunday brunch. Get there early (e.g. 11:30), or you could be in for a wait

  Solid outdoor beach experience to be had here. Great for Birthdays, Holidays, Anniversaries... Romantic in the Fall with less fog at the coast and warm evenings. Food is very good for the price and views...

  We stumbled upon this gem at exactly the right time! Driving up the coast on a Thursday, we decided we were hungry and started searching for food in Half Moon Bay. We arrived about 4:30 and were seated even though we did not have a reservation. We had the Thursday special which was surf and turf with salad and a lemon bar for desert for only $19.95! The food came out quickly and as we dined we saw people start to pour in and realized how lucky it was that we had gotten there early! They even had a piano player! Both the food and the service were wonderful and we would definitely go there again!

  Great service, amazing sunset view. Dogs are allowed on the patio. They even brought a water bowl out! The clam chowder, the shrimp appetizer and the cheesy, garlic bread were great! The wine by the glass selection was plentiful. The ladies bathroom was clean. However, the artichoke cake, fresh artichoke appetizer, and the fish n' chips were just ok.

  This restaurant has a great, warm, family atmosphere. The menu also tells you more about the building's history during prohibition which lends to the warm feeling of the place. We went for dinner and there was a piano player who plays fairly regularly. He plays classical, rock music, pop music, everything (Bohemian Rhapsody was played at some point). Seafood chowder is good. The entrees were standard seafront restaurant fare, hearty and good. Not hipster/ or that adventurous, but I think that's a good thing here.
