“Wildlife views include pelicans, various other birds, crabs, an eel-like fish, and tiny sand critters that burrow in the sand. We went Sunday, and there are lots of people including international tourists. Many folks have un-leashed dogs even though signs clearly command leashes or fines! Everyone appears "normal" meaning there are no apparent homeless, mentally handicapped, or heavy drug users around. I feel safe, and I am a woman nearing 60. The beach is clean. Sand is fine and easy to walk bare footed. No one is in swimsuits. It is July 29 and the temperature is 63° at 5:25pm. I had Googled Maverick Beach and it placed me here. Parking is free, but crowded. All in all, it is a lovely place for a ten-minute or hours long walk, or a beach picnic--as many people do.”

“I try to buy flowers for my wife about ten to twelve times a year here. The staff is super friendly and the selection spans all budgets, which makes it easy to be a frequent flower shopper. The lower the price of the roses, the older they are so if you want your roses to last purchase more expensive versions. They don't seem to have the "mens guide to buying flowers" anymore but it is a funny guide.”

“Ive tooken my kids here for yrs and yrs. Its become a true tradition. They offer plenty to keep little ones occupied. And their pumpkins are all in really good shape yr in and yr out. They even have a room u can rent to throw a birthday or whatever you chose to celebrate. The small store on site sells the cutest charms and festive decorations.”

“Really pleasant Bed & Breakfast with very welcoming local hosts! Jeff greeted us with bottle of California chardonnay on ice - it was perfectly buttery and representative of the variety (I meant to get the name for future purchases). Our room, #1, had a small terrace that looks a few blocks to the ocean. The room was decorated in b&b frilly-style - not my taste, but done well and very fitting. The bathroom was ample sized and high-lighted with a jacuzzi tub. Everything looked very clean and that was appreciated! We were given a key to our room and to the front door. There was plenty of street parking on the private road in front of the b&b. Jeff and Lori prepared a delicious and filling breakfast while offering guidance about local events and hiking trails. We followed their advice and were rewarded with a great day at a local festival and amazing views on hiking trails. Jeff told us about the history of the b&b house that he built as a b&b and even let us sit in his classic Corvette! Would definitely recommend Pacific Victorian B&B - enjoy!”
