“On Weekdays, there are very few visitors. And most of these are retirees! Gradual uphill walk to a nice vista point. Then, it's downhill to the North Parking Lot. (On Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, I went to the South parking lot and hiked the trail north. When I returned, the SUV next to me had its side and rear windows smashed. We called the San Mateo County Sheriff via 911, but don't know if they finally came. When the owners of the SUV returned they said that several thousand dollars of engineering equipment had been stolen. This is a quite remote location. I'm so sad that this break-in mars my estimation of this lovely trail.)”
