Ravenswood Pond SF2

Last exit when going towards Fremont from Menlo Park, just before getting on the Dumbarton bridge.

Excellent place for bird photography. You can see various bird species here and can shoot some candid shots of birds trying to catch fishes in the pond.

The hike itself is in and back, very short around one mile in total.

Excellent spot for birding. Hardly any people in the evenings. Great place to de-stress.

You get a great view of various birds out here from the road right beside the 84 expressway. When you are travelling from west to east, exit the 84 right before the bridge starts. There is no designated parking area but you can park the car near the lone seat out there and relax and enjoy the view.
I have never seen more than a couple of people out there on a weekday.
