(August 9, 2022, 1:39 am)I was looking for some specialty foods and I couldn't find them in Safeway or Lucky, so I went to El Mercadito Latino on El Camino in Redwood City and found what I was looking for, beef liver. Oh some of you might think eww, but do you know it's one of the most nutritious things too eat. Also found mini bananas that I used to enjoy when living in Asia. Good selection of hot sauce and other Mexican groceries.

(January 10, 2022, 12:54 am)We were in town so decided to stop at a favorite of ours. This place has expanded. I remember this being a home in the wall when we moved to the area in the early 90's. Then when I got back from the military in the mid 2000's this place was still going strong. It's nice to see that the people are still friendly and willing to help. They have expanded to add a carnicería. That's a plus. And they still have some familiar faces working there.

(February 4, 2021, 8:28 pm)It's a very nice small Mexican grocery store, mostly for basic ingredients. The vegetable selection is remarkable. You get fresh stuff here for a relatively good price. The crew is nice.

(March 31, 2019, 11:45 pm)Love this place. Very close to where I live so it is super easy to pick up some produce before dinner or grab a couple sodas. They also have a lot of the kitchen stables like oil or flour.
