Get an app on your phone to know where you're looking and you'll be able to see planets and constellations. In addition to the heavens, the earth below is equally awesome. “Extended Stay America of San Carlos has definitely exceeded my expectations. I was provided with absolutely everything I needed from dishes, to dishwashing liquid, to facial tissue, to quarters for the laundry- I was surprised at how well this hotel takes care of its guests. The rooms are a nice size and cozy, with spacious bathrooms and beautiful hardwood floors. It is located within walking distance to major retailers, the bus/Caltrain lines and downtown Redwood City with all of its attractions. Plus, the weather is gorgeous for January. The beds are comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly and kind. They let you know personally when maintenance is being performed and which utilities will be available and when, and are always ready to serve. One evening, I put in a request for a bulb to be replaced in my room and maintenance showed up the very next morning, early. I was not expecting that. Whenever I ask for additional soap or dish washing liquid from house keeping, they always give me more than I request. The hotel is also located in a safe and friendly area. I really do feel like I am at home here at Extended Stay America and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to call home while on the road.”
