The mailing address is in Pacifica, but the services on Sunday are held at College Heights Church, which is located at 1150 West Hillsdale Blvd in San Mateo, approximately halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. (This is just off the 92 Freeway.) The senior pastor is an excellent preacher who manages to blend a deeply expressed love of the Bible with the illumination that comes from modern scholarship. The music minister provides a wide range of hymn, praise songs, and spirituals.”

“We had visited many doctors prior to help my wife dealing with premature menopause. Other than throwing estrogen at 'the problem' they had no answer - and we realized that 'regular Western medicine' wasn't solving anything. After she had visited Dr. Burke we learned an incredible amount about how a body works, how the chemicals and transmitters work (or don't) and how everything can be brought together with an unconventional mix of eastern and western medicine: diet change, supplements and acupuncture were all part of Dr Burke's holistic plan to getting well again. I guess, I'm more the 'cause - effect' kind of person, so, after we did my blood work we took hours to go through every line item and Dr. Burke invested the time to explain everything. Long story short: change in diet, supplements and a little time - and sweet slumber has come back to me. However, don't expect a 'one-visit-and-your-healed' experience. These things don't exist (that's called magic). Expect a profoundly well explained analysis why you probably need to change some aspects of your life style, expect a trusted person you can open yourself up to and have very candid conversations, who understands the art of listening and truly wants to help you get better. We've now been 2+ years with Dr. Burke, still see her regularly and still get to experience what 'regular' doctors were not able to do. What is deeply impressive is her understanding of the complex ways a body works and her ability to explain it (if you want to). We live a very healthy life style and enjoy every moment in life.”

I saw extensions on friends and loved the look, so low-maintenance moi wanted to give the mascara a break and dive head-first into longer lashes. I could not have been happier with the service. Phil took my appointment via email. Susan took great care of me when applying the lashes. I was given a sheet of instructions to take home with me that detailed the maintenance of the lashes. I will be coming back for more! Thanks Susan, Phil & the Yweight Spa staff. Notes: 1. Full-set lash application took one hour 2. They let me have a bottle of water from their cooler ahead of my service 3. I wore glasses, but was told that contacts were fine, even preferable - the glue is gentle but the fumes may burn a little when you open your eyes, not badly - less than when you cut onions - wearing contacts can prevent some of this. 4. “As a Kaiser patient I was diagnosed with ptosis, and surgery was recommended. Because I was considering eye surgery, I wanted to have my under eye bags treated at the same time, they have bothered me since childhood. I consulted with several of Kaisers oculoplastic surgeons and reviewed before and after photos. If I were to have chosen Kaiser for my needs, I would have to have had two separate surgeries (outside of Kaiser it would mean only one surgery). I asked one of the surgeons whom they would recommend and was given the name of Dr. Newman. In addition to Dr. Newman, I also consulted with renowned surgeons in San Francisco and the East Bay. Dr. Newman had by far the most impressive, in volume and results, catalogue of before and after photos. Dr. Newman performed my surgery and I could not be more pleased with the results. Both my mom and sister said I look great, that surgery was not even noticeable; the results were so natural. They both said I just "look great and refreshed". Dr. Newman is a master and a gifted surgeon. His staff could not be more pleasant and attentive. His nurse and office manager are both exceptional and made me feel very comfortable and quickly attended to all of my questions and needs. My recovery was easy and I would highly recommend Dr. Newman. On a side note, I have worked in the medical industry for two decades, which made my very dedicated to finding "the right" surgeon for me. I even reached out to one of the sales representatives who works with dozens of plastic surgeons in California (including Dr. Newman) to vet Dr. Newman. “Our 2 year old son attended summer school sessions (full week/half days) at Welcome Amigos and loved it! It was his first experience in a preschool setting and we couldn't have asked for a more positive one! The teachers were wonderful and caring, the repurposed home was clean and full of tons of things for the children to learn and experience. The director, Elizabeth, was amazing - you can tell how much she loves her work and the children and takes it very seriously. The teachers were all very patient and kind with my very energetic son - they even got him to sit in circle time! Other things that were great: * how organized the program was - having a theme each week and lots of little activities around it (including field trips, making food, and science experiments) * the weekly reports, pictures, and videos * that I was encouraged to drop in anytime and be as involved as I wanted to be * they focus not just on academics, but teach children to be good citizens as well * my son was starting to say phrases, and name things in Spanish after only a few weeks! I highly recommend Welcome Amigos!”
