“During the mid-nineties a Miltech Winchester M1carbine was send to me via an FFL holder near me. The weapon was absolutely flawless upon receipt. However after a couple of my military officer buddies and I fired several clips of 110 grain ammo at 1970 fps - - - - a small flaw developed in the wood stock above the trigger housing. The owner's wife - very graciously - listened to my telephone call description of the issue, said "Return the stock" - - - - - and a few days later I had a like new stock - - - that somehow matched the wood on the hand guard Martin J.
