(February 18, 2020, 11:36 pm)I had a great experience riding the horses with Shannen. This is my first time ever riding a horse and my cousin convinced me to come with her to try it out. It was not as scary as I thought it would be, Shannen was very patient and made sure the horses pace never went past my comfort zone. She also made sure to walk next to me until I felt comfortable to ride the horse "alone". At the end, she even allowed me to help bathe them which I found very fun. Thanks for the experience Shannen!
(February 6, 2020, 5:13 pm)This is both my kids first time taking riding lessons and Shannen is awesome! She is so kind, patient and good with the kids. I was immediately comfortable with her. Blue banner stables is one of my happy places. It is such a peaceful and serene environment! We just love it!
(February 5, 2020, 11:52 pm)My 16 year old has had lessons with Shannen and she loved the atmosphere Shannen created. She has an easy going personality that is accepting to all levels of riding. Shannen is professional and personable with her interaction with parents and students. I really enjoy her love and passion she has for her personal horses as well as all the other lesson horses she works with. Her knowledge in horsemanship is valuable and I would recommend her highly.
(February 5, 2020, 2:18 am)First time learning how to ride a horse with Shannen and she was the best! She was extremely patient with me and didn't mind answering the hundreds of questions I had. For those of you hesitant to try something new, don't be! I had the greatest time riding even though I started off with zero experience.
(January 22, 2020, 11:29 pm)I have been taking lesson with Shannen for about 3 months now and I could not be happier with my choice to ride with her. I reached out to Shannen to inquire about riding lessons and explained to her I had not rode in 12 years but wanted to start again. She responded quickly, re-assured me that it was never to late to get back into riding, and worked with me to find a lesson time that was convenient for me. My first lesson with her I quickly saw that she was an experienced trainer who cared about her students and her horses. She is patient, supportive, and kind. Her lessons are well structured, engaging, and fun. She teaches you all you need to know about horses and riding. I have learned so much from her; she is truly a wonderful trainer. I highly recommend her for riders of all ages and abilities!
