They have THE BEST berry pie - Fruit of the Forest! Don’t buy it by the spice - you’ll want the whole pie and possibly unable to share.

Their fruit market next door to the restaurant also sells fresh fruit, nuts, specialty chocolate and more, much more. This is the only place I trust to buy my almonds and cashews - if you can avoid the big box stores. The nuts are much fresher here and this poster can definitely appreciate the difference.

Casa de Fruta has something for everyone and very child fun-friendly. Train, peacock, candy shop, fruit store, bakery, restaurant, wine shop and more. Definitely worth stopping by and staying a spell.

A fun road trip stop! We enjoyed just walking around and exploring the fruit stand, the playground (a bit run-down, though), and more. The restaurant was actually really good and was my husband's highlight! The highlight for my daughter was the carousel. I loved the cheap price for it! :) Next time we'll try the train ride, which is also a pretty good price.

Last time I visited was before the Covid-19 pandemic. Very pleased to see that the facility continues to improve - enticing families not just to stop for quick produce purchases (and bio breaks) but to hang around and explore the various outlets and play areas - not to forget the train ride. Will always make it a point to stop every time I drive between Fresno and San Francisco. I was hoping to see more options on peanuts; must be out of season? Perhaps, next visit.

This was a nice,quiet and convenient camping place. Lots of trees for shade. Convenient because so close to freeway but still quiet. The bathrooms were clean. The grounds were well kept. There is many amenities around. Playground for kids. The only reason why I gave 4 stars internet isn't the best.

Great rest stop on highway 152. Always enjoyed stopping here with my parents when I was just kid now my kids love it. Majority of attractions have been outdated so they modernized it. Old metal equipment replaced with new jungle gym, but swings are the same so is monkey bars. They pulled 2 of they other park play areas out now just empty space. Train still runs showing you the entire grounds. A carousel sits behind candy shop yet it seems to always be out of order. The zoo hasn't been open for decades. The mining shop is always closed too. Not to fret the fruit stand candy shops and restaurants are open. Wine tasting and gas station with several restroom on site. If your tired rest up at they motel or bring your camper park on the trailer park. Check out the special events calendar fir renaissance fair and pow wows.
