Very happy with Wendy Stimson as my PT. I have known her for several years.

I saw another physical therapist twice a week for 11 months with no improvement. Within 10 minutes of my first visit Wendy was able to diagnose what she suspected to be the problem. She then did her testing and analysis and found the actual cause of the inability of me to bring my left arm up and overhead. Within 6 sessions I was able to get my arm overhead! Now she is working on my posture and strength so I can stand upright correctly. That is the root problem. I have a pinched nerve in my cervical spine and it prevents me from being able to bring my arm overhead. It was not my shoulder at all. The previous physical therapist would stretch my arm and shoulder, and send me home with a few exercises that accomplished nothing. Wendy uses a laser light mechanism that she designed. It helps my brain to focus, recognize and find the right muscle that I should be using to accomplish a specific movement. It is incredible! I have experienced improvement every single visit. I have more clarity as to the root of the problem and a solution/goal. I receive a detailed description and video of my at-home exercises each visit so we are working together as a team. I really thought I would never get use of my left arm again after being told by my previous physical therapist that there was nothing else that can be done except maybe surgery. I am so grateful that I didn’t give up and that I called Wendy. She changed my life.

I went to Wendy years ago after a car accident, and she helped me isolate deficiencies in my movement and taught me simple ways to overcome my injuries and chronic issues. When I moved back to the area recently after two knee replacements due to rheumatoid and osteo arthritis, I knew exactly whom to see for degenerating joints and bad habits and once again she has provided valuable insights and important exercises for rehabbing and becoming more functional. Even though she is out of network for my insurance, she is worth it. I wholeheartedly recommend Wendy for your physical therapy needs.

Very helpful physical therapist! Wendy has helped me rehab from a number of climbing injuries to my shoulder and fingers, and has also helped me improve my running form and posture. Definitely an expert in her field and highly recommended her for any physical therapy needs!

I had an extreme case of vertigo after the holidays and Wendy was so patient and caring. She worked with me on series of exercises and after the session I felt so much better. I'm not sure what I would do without her. I highly recommend Wendy!!
