“A typical corporate store. Despite only having a skeleton crew, I can not complain about the service. The stock on the shelves was pretty spotty. Many empty shelves. It is almost as if the building is too big for their business. This place was nothing special, and driving there is a hot mess. You can barely see the shopping center, and it is like taking one big, never-ending u-turn to get in the parking lot. It is not a great location, and if I did not use Google maps, I would have driven right past it. A decent store. Nothing special.”

“I've been dancing at Arete for three and a half years, and I can only say amazing things about this place and the people I met there. I started going to Arete to dance Zumba, but Kris convinced me to take some Ballroom classes. And what can I say? I fell in love with it! Dancing is now a crucial part of my life, but it was only possible because I found Arete. Kris will make you feel welcome from the beginning; she is passionate about what she does and is a fantastic instructor! She will never make you uncomfortable; you will learn how to dance while having fun which is very important for me (life is already too hard, isn't it?). I've been taking private dance lessons with Richard for three years, and he has helped me trust myself more as a dancer and improve my skills; he pushes me to be better with kindness, humor, and keeping my personal goals in mind. He is a great instructor! I've made good friends in this studio, and I guarantee you won't regret giving yourself the chance to try. Oh, by the way, you don't need a partner to try; plenty of people, including myself, go without their partners.”

“We've been going to Los Altos Eyecare now for several years. Dr. Ahi has moved locations, but her service and attitude remains the same - friendly, thorough, honest. She doesn't try to upsell or overcharge you for every little thing like other optometry offices. It may be harder to reach her now during the pandemic, but if you send her a few reminder emails, she will always get back to you sooner or later. Dr. Westerbeck is a great new asset to the team there. She is so knowledgeable and keeps up to date on the latest research. So many optometrists just try to stick children in eyeglasses right away without offering alternative solutions. Dr. Westerbeck brought up atropine eyedrops, and we are forever grateful to her for altering the course of myopia that has a lifelong consequence in children.
