It really is in the middle of Kennedy-Woods trail.

Turn-around point when hiking up the mountainside via the Kennedy Trail. Beautiful vistas along the way, but the top of the mountain itself a bit of a let down. Really just a dead end PG&E trail used to service the high tension electrical towers that run along top the ridge. Nice view uphill to Mt. Umunhum.

Great hike, stupid finish. The trail turn around didn't have much of a view. See photo sphere
