First of all let me tell you something, this service is not for everyone. If you are old fashioned and want to just call the realtor and have him make all the decisions for your then you are better off with an old fashion real estate service. We prefer their "open book" philosophy, if that is what I can call their model. This is a modern and very different real estate service. For us it was a truly unbelievable service. We loved a lot of their features and some of them we really had no use for but it was nice to know we had that option. I particularly loved our seller portal. We could monitor everything from there, like what agents were asking our realtor, and when we wanted our home showings, and my favorite one was the offers received section, sent directly to us. Did I forget to mention we had no fees at all, not even a flat fee and we had full service. At first we thought it was going to be like those for sale by owner services that upsell you on features after you sign up but they did not charge for anything. After we met the first time and they explained how they are able to do this it makes perfect sense. Selling a home in the Bay Area is pretty much based on supply and demand and having listings is the life blood of any agency. Their business model is simple. Create demand through listings and reduce unnecessary expenses. It worked for us. And best of all it was premium service.
