Villa Riposo Winery

5 stars all around. I've stayed at 17 AirBnB listings and so far this has been my favorite. This place is just beautiful, every angle of this property makes for a great photographic backdrop. Delyse was also a great host, very easy-going and communicative, would 100% recommend and would love to stay again!

I had my wedding at Villa Riposo in September 2021 and it was a magical day! We originally had a larger wedding booked elsewhere for 175 people, but with covid we made the decision to downsize and switch venues, and this is when we came across Villa Riposo on Airbnb. We stayed the whole weekend at this airbnb and everything about the day & the weekend were perfect! I will have fond memories of this day & weekend for the rest of my life.

With that being said, it is very important for you to know that if you are planning a wedding at Villa Riposo, there are pros and cons. The owner Delyse is very upfront with how hands-off she will be with the wedding planning, as she is an airbnb host, not a planner/ coordinator. If you are not the type of person that likes to plan or stress over details, this most likely is not the place for you. In addition, I would highly suggest getting a wedding planner (and DEFINITELY a day-of coordinator) to make your experience at Villa Riposo less stressful. There is a wedding planner/ airbnb co-host by the name of Shella connected to Villa Riposo, however she was non-communicative and "ghosted us," so we had to find our own planner (Moggia Events) to step in.

I see many concerns listed on these reviews, but in my experience, thoroughly reading the contract and asking Delyse any questions you may had, would avoid these concerns. We did amend the contract or get written permission via email for any exceptions to the rules listed on the contract, and would suggest you do the same. You do have to be very persistent and patient with communication to Delyse, as it is evident she is a busy gal!

This is how we planned our wedding at Villa Riposo. We rented out the entire airbnb (4 suites & 1 airstreamer) from Friday to Monday and had our amazing immediate family stay in the airbnb. Renting out the whole airbnb truly gave us more flexibility to set up more freely and enjoy the space for more than one night

-Friday we started to load some items into the rooms and enjoyed the pool, dinner at the tasting room, & views before the hectic weekend began!
-Saturday we put up DIY decor in the pool area, enjoyed the pool, had rehearsal + dinner with wedding party, and then went for a night out in Downtown Morgan Hill.
-Sunday was our wedding day! My wedding planner really did everything on Sunday, but to note because we were hosting about 50 people, we did rent out tables, chairs, & other decor. Our ceremony was on the lawn facing the fountain, our dinner was catered under the pergola (gorgeous), first dances at the tasting room entrance, desserts & cake cutting in the tasting room, and dancing/mingling by the pool. It's important to note that the curfew changed quite a bit from the contract, but Delyse was very upfront with amplified noise needing to be cut around 9pm. With that being said, my brother aka my DJ/MC/Officiant, thought way ahead and rented out Silent Disco gear! We were able to keep the party going much later and we have now have some cool/ silly photos of us all in light up headphones. Admittedly we were spoiled with our family who started to clean up that night for us.
- Monday we fully cleaned up and we checked out, and we left straight to our honeymoon!

The venue views were to die for. The space was so unique and so perfect for what we were looking for. Oh, and we stayed in the Louise Room (I believe) and it was to die for- the most comfortable bed and I was welcomed with bridal "swag" from Delyse upon arrival! If you think you can make it through the cons, I would highly suggest booking Villa Riposo for your dream wedding day, or weekend! I can't wait to visit again one day to just relax & drink wine with my husband!

I came across Villa Riposo through HipCamp when I rented the unique Airstream with the view of the beautiful Vineyards. I saw the gorgeous winery and met Delyse and I knew I had to host an event in the beautiful setting. I hosted my sister's bridal shower this past weekend and all my guests were in awe of the beautiful venue. The shower was dreamy and everything I had hoped it would be. I would highly recommend this beautiful venue. Thank you Delyse for hospitality and for helping me make my sister's special day extra special.

We had a very nice and relaxing 2 night stay. It was quiet, the ambiance was wonderful and the owners were kind. We almost felt like we owned the place because they were rarely even seen. The pool area was well laid out with lots of seating choices and a fully shaded area which was really great. All-in-all a hidden gem for a romantic get a way.

Beautiful setting with plenty of spaces to have your own adventure. The pool and hot tub are fantastic on a sunny day, and the many pergolas offer plenty of shade. There's an outdoor kitchenette with a grill. The vines and grounds are gorgeous. The rooms are private and cozy.

Being so close to SF, this is a great escape from the city.
