I have been working with Max, and he is excellent. He knows a lot, and he can explain things very well. He pushes you, but at the same time, he makes sure it is fun. Highly recommend him.

I've been working with Jake for, I'm not even sure how long now but several months and his enthusiasm has guided mine in turn. Even through huge personal struggles he's acted as a voice of reason and a true mentor. I would recommend this gym to absolutely anyone and i love going.

I trained with Max for a few months but had to resign due to personal financial reasons. Max is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The space is very clean, professional and well equipped. He designs the sessions to fit your personal needs anywhere from beginners to competitors. Really enjoyed my time here. Learned a lot and really upped my fitness and self defense game. Great family man and ex champ. Would highly recommend for anyone with passing interest in boxing, fitness or striking.

Counter Punch is the best boxing training center in the area, hands down, for fitness boxing as well as competitive boxing. Coach Max is an ex-boxing champion who has great ring experience and taught me real boxing technique to get me ready for the ring, and helps us reach our all individual boxing goals. The facility is super new, clean, and stocked with training tools!

I consider myself to be relatively fit, but have been looking for something to “shock” my body and shake up my workout routine. I just got home from my 1st 1:1 personal training with Max and he is amazing. He is patient, listens to your goals, friendly, professional and skilled! He definitely was patient with me. I have a lot to learn, but loved my first class & I already signed up for. 2 more!

I know my strength, cardio and skills will improve working with Max. I highly recommend Counterpunch if you are looking for a boxing gym and to get in shape. 🔥 🥊
