Northwood Park

It is a small neighborhood park located next to an elementary school. The playset area has equipment that will interest 2 to 10 year olds. There is a large grassy area that runs up the center. There is a paved sidewalk that runs along 3 sides. The North side is (now) separated from the school, so one has to walk on the grass to get back to the Lakewood Drive side of the park.

Norwood Park is a little Park located in the middle of a residential area has a small shopping Center Kentucky fried Chicken and a couple small convenience stores across the street it appears to be a nice place for children and families to play.

Good place .safe for kids to play far from the main street.

Open space. Great for a kick ball game or two. Not many people which was great no restrooms though.

It’s a nice little park, great for seniors walking around and kids age 2 ~ 5 to play. There is a water fountain and many trees that provide shade. The only downside is the benches and tables are made of cement/rock so they can be very cold in the morning even under sunshine. Occasionally some wanderers/homeless might linger around the neighborhood. But it shouldn’t be an issue.
