“This is the second time I've been here for a smog check. Most recently, I stopped by at lunch and the tech was really friendly and polite. I was in and out of there in about 10-15 mins. My only issue was the cost. At first I was told the entire smog check was going to cost me $69.99 + certification cost + submission cost for an SUV. Sedans are apparently cheaper to smog (??). I asked about the discount that I got the first time and he lowered it $30, no questions asked. Would recommend asking if they can discount before paying full pop.”

“I’ve been going to Valley Acupunture for over ten years. Nancy Burns has a wonderful business and I would recommend all her services! During my visits, I’ve worked through a number of physical and emotional issues. Awhile ago, my concern was getting more energy and losing a few midlife pounds. Nancy was excited at this request as she had been doing research on just this topic! Our first meeting entailed questions about my health, concerns and symptoms. We also discussed the foods I was eating and how they affected my health. I left with a list of foods to eliminate and others foods to include in my diet as well as ideas about implementing them in my life. I have been working on these changes for about a month. So far, I’ve lost five pounds and feel more energetic, focused and alert. All this and not yet perfect about my diet. Fortunately, many of my eating habits have changed and I don’t miss the many carbohydrates I thought I couldn’t do without. That is until a recent neighborhood pot luck! I tasted everything! By the end, I felt so sick! I realized this was the “normal” with previous eating habits. After my headache was gone, there is stronger resolve for more diligence in my eating and look forward to many years of health and happiness!
