Circling the park where this in held is a jogging/ walking path great for light cardio activities. The UCCE Master Gardeners seem to be able to talk directly to Mother Nature and were given the secrets. I promise you will fall in love with everything.. it all grows on you while you are there.
A very nice and tranquil place for my dog to walk and play.
The park offers many ways to help and learn in the mornings during the week if you like growing plants. Martial Cottle is remarkable for its size and the dedication of its volunteers, who are a wealth of practical information about gardening.
This four acre parcel is managed by UCCE Master Gardeners of Santa Clara County. Here you'll find a pollinator garden, native plant garden, raised beds for flowers, herbs, and vegetables. The parcel is open to the public when the park is open. Workdays are Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m.–noon. Martial Cottle Park Volunteers and the public are welcome to roll up your sleeves and attend a class, participate in an event or just help garden.
