Ivy Park at San Jose

My visit there was exceptional. Very clean. The staff was extremely nice and my loved one was very comfortable there. Highly recommend.

My mother started in the assisted living area of Ivy Park. The facility is bright and clean (with lots of communal areas where residents can meet), the apartments are very nice (roomy with accessible bathrooms that are bigger than mine!), and there are a lot of activities and excursions planned for the residents. The staff was helpful and friendly and made sure my introverted mother got down to the lunch room to eat and even socialize a bit. (The food is great, btw.) Most important, my mom was able to have her beloved cat with her.

This arrangement worked well until my mother’s dementia got worse, so I was able to move her to the memory care section of the facility. There are only a small number of residents on this side, so the staff can devote more time to each one. As my mom's needs grew, the facility was able to increase their level of care. The staff members were so patient, especially when my mom was being particularly difficult. I'd like to especially thank Christine, Patrick, and Stephanie for their kindness to both my mother and me. And my mom was still able to have her cat with her, which I think really helped as the cat was one of the last things she could remember.

My mother has since passed, but I'm still so grateful that I chose a facility that made a difficult situation bearable for both me and my mother. Ivy Park ticked all the boxes for me:

- Mom was in a caring, safe environment
- She was made as comfortable and stress-free as possible, considering her illness
- The staff was patient and kind
- The facility was able to meet changing level of care from independent living all the way to hospice.

This facility has exceptional customer service, it’s clean and the staff is so kind to the residents. I wouldn’t think twice about putting my loved ones at, Ivy Park.

We visited Ivy Park last month and found the place beautiful and clean. We stayed for lunch and was impressed with the food. The residents looked happy and active. The staff was professional, friendly and knowledgable. We will be back when closer to making a move. Thanks, Ivy Park.

5 stars! I was extremely hesitant to have my Aunt stay in a Senior Assistant living situation until I came across Ivy Park at San Jose. Aunt Patty is so happy and thriving. I haven't seen her smile so much. The facility is so clean, the staff are wonderful and compassionate and so caring. My aunt just adores everyone! The food is excellent and the activities keep her plenty busy. I honestly can not say enough about our experience. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a wonderful, caring place for someone you love to get the attention and care they need. Thank you Ivy Park!
