  I highly recommend Dr. Jennifer Ray to anyone seeking improved well-being and mental health. She works with you to establish specific goals of therapy and makes adjustments as necessary. She uses quantitative measures to determine baseline status and monitor progress over time. She takes the time to get to know your background and family history and writes down important information that is helpful for future visits. She offers helpful suggestions and provides relevant resources. Best of all, she is kind, welcoming and easy to talk to. She is honest but tactful, and never makes you feel as though you are being judged. As a bonus, she has an adorable westie that joins us for sessions - everything is better with a dog! Dr. Ray has greatly contributed to the success of my self-growth journey - I have more confidence, less anxiety, and feel better able to cope with the normal ups and downs of life. I am so grateful to her!

  I have seen Dr.Ray for more than a year and am in a much better place now than I've been in the past 10 years. I look forward to the visits as I leave with a more positive outlook than when I go in. She has a manner which is very kind and validating but also straightforward. It has helped me be more decisive, more motivated and more clear and confident in my abilities. My experience with Dr.Ray has been very positive and I have recommended her to several people.

  Although she was my first therapist, I had a really good experience with Dr. Jennifer Ray. During my time with her, she made me feel understood. She’s a kind person and can be funny at appropriate times. Her words are clear and concise, and made me realize a few things about myself that I was unaware of. One of the things I thought was helpful is that she would give me some easy steps to combat my struggles. Almost like homework, it let me to get closer to facing my fears in a “not pushy way.” She definitely played a part in my ability to begin moving forward in life and feel more confident. As a plus, she has a sweet little Westie who will keep your feet warm during the session if you ask to let the dog in with you! Dr. Ray is an excellent therapist.
