Ao Dai Anh Thu

My mom and I stopped in here randomly to get ready for my tea ceremony and banquet, and we are glad we did! Anh Thu and the workers were amazing to work with, even when it got hectic and busy - since wedding season is back in full swing and she also alters and rents ao dais for any occasion.

We came here to buy:
- Vietnamese wedding ao dai. This was custom made and shipped from Vietnam. When it came, I was pleasantly surprised the hem was perfect and the sleeves were too. We just needed to hem the pants!
- Bridesmaid ao dais. We got 3 custom made because I have friends who are not standard Asian sizes. They were affordable - about $80 each. Not terribly priced and the girls can keep it forever.

We also came here to rent:
- 1 bridesmaid ao dai. This was because my sister is a standard Asian size, the cost was about $35 to rent and we also had a security deposit.
- The groom’s dragon suit. The suit was very well made and the dragon was hand painted.
- Tea ceremony trays. We rented 4, including the blankets on top, for about $60 total and a security deposit.

Overall, the owner was very reliable, and her prices were affordable and her items were in tip top shape. The entire experience was easy and enjoyable. I completely recommend going here to prep for your Vietnamese wedding.

I needed an ao Dai for my wedding and the owners of ao Dai Anh Thu were amazing throughout the entire process. The prices were reasonable (some other places I checked out were 2x the prices!) and their knowledge designs / colors / fabrics was so helpful. I would recommend checking out ao dais examples on Pinterest or online and bring the design in because they are able to do custom designs if you have a picture of what you want.

The store employees were super helpful and genuine. I came to fix an ao dai bought from a thrift store and it was too small to even get fixed. I got a premade ao dai for graduation pics on a great deal for ~$40-ish. Would love to come back to get other ao dais for other occasions!
