“Peaceful spot. Besides the crackheads that wander in and few that live here. Beware of your neighbors. They will break in if you don't have cameras”

“We have been here almost about a year. It’s very quite (well out street is anyway) which I Love! Only thing I wish they had a playground for kids but other than that it’s been good I don’t use the pool or the club house so don’t have an opinion on that . As for the comment about water and electricity being shut off it’s because pg&e did some major work that took couple months to finish so at times( I think was only couple times) they had to turn it off and they would let u know about it. So far no complaints about living here.”

“My father lived here for over 10 years. He loved everything about it. I was his caretaker for the last 3 years of his life as he had terminal cancer. The rules on parking and yard upkeep were very stricked but I am not complaining. As those stricked rules are what keeps the place so nice. The management did change a couple of times but the level of outstanding work from those people never faltered. They are good people with excellent work ethics and the management should be recognized for their outstanding contributions. I highly recommend this RV park to anyone who can manage to be patient on the RV waiting list especally if you plan to stay for an extended period of time. All of the Amenities make it a very convenient place to live and the community is so friendly it's great. They even have 2 car washing stalls as well as access to yard tools and lawn mowers hedge trimmers and edgers. The laundry Matt even had clothes lines for your clothes that you don't want in dryer to air dry!! I can't even think of any way this place could be improved. I will miss going there to visit and care for my father as he made some very nice friends who were so helpful and showed genuine concern for a sick old man. They will be missed.”

“This place is a good place to stay for a night or two. Cramped spaces, mostly a parking lot, but the staff is nice and it's right on the beach and safe. There is hot water, but it doesn't always work, so be sure to tell the staff you need hot water so they can make sure the water heater is turned on. There is wifi and it worked at all spots.”

“My great great aunt is a resident here. It is a quaint mobile home park with quiet and friendly neighbors. My aunt has been enjoying her stay here for the last 2 years. We always enjoy visiting her here as well. They allow parking in front of the home itself for short visits and that makes things much easier than some places which force you to struggle to find a spot or park far in order to visit a loved one. I would definitely reccomend this place to someone seeking a place for a senior loved one/friend.”

“This is a mobile home park. I do not live here. I cannot answer questions about the park itself. The park has a community room where I go for a knitting meet-up weekly. This review is only about the community room. A resident of the park must reserve the room and must be present when guests are using the room. The room is spacious, with good lighting. There is a small kitchen attached where we can make lunch. There are plenty of parking spaces very close to the room. The management office adjoins the community room. The staff is friendly and polite. It has been very pleasant to hold our meet-up at Monterey Oaks.”

“It's semi-affordable especially given the cost of living in this area. And the grounds and facilities are well kept. The management is not bad but not amazing, and do get the job done.”

“Even though once you find yourself on the same looping circle that circles the other encircling circles of circling circles it never is a thought what a dump. Not once ib my hundred times going round trying to find my escape did I once think I didnt like the place. Its very well kept along with highly maintained and acually parking a plus. i hate not being able to visit people because th complex or development didnt take into consideration people might have friends and family. And its a pretty nice place.”

“I moved in here about 5 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I have found Richard, the Manager, to be very responsive and informative. The neighbors are friendly and caring. My home is really comfortable and well designed. Since this park has been around since the 1970's, there are some who have moved or passed away, leaving it possible for more individuals to enjoy this over 55 community.”

“This was a great RV Park, but if your looking to get in quick no way - they usually have a long waiting list to get in as long as you don’t have to be out of the park at night your okay. Lots of homeless outside the park itself. They don’t have showers to use outside of your own RV, and one bathroom that is only for the pool area is locked up after hours. If you are looking for a clean place to stay and other great amenities it’s a nice place and price I feel is fair for the area. Not too far from stores or restaurants.”

“Great park. Very small but our 30ft Hitchhiker Discover America is a perfect fit for our site. Very clean park, nice laundry, and paved roads. Great biking right from park. Green bike path all the way to the Gaudiloupe Trail. The staff is second to none. I have never in all of our travels met a nicer group of people. If you don't like this park you will not be happy anywhere.”

“Being living here since 2007. At first the management really leave you be which means more freedom to do things like remodel, landscaping, etc. But it's also means more chaos, people were parking everywhere, ugly looking home, run-down community facilities, etc.. After the new management took over, they over hauled a lot of stuffs and policies. The park looks more organized and clean but it means you can't do certain things anymore. How you like this mobile home park will depend on your personality and living reference. For me, I like this park because it's very green and big but quiet at the same time. I don't mind the stricter rules since it weeds out the bad characters and make this community one of the safest place to live in the Bay Area. Seriously, you will rarely lose a delivered items or get your car or house break-in here if you live deep inside the park.”

“Convenient location. All age park, playground throughout the park. Management can be slow in response to emergencies and caused inconveniences. The park can be upgraded to look better.”
