  The Basin remains my favorite restaurant. Yes, the food is fantastic and always well prepared. Yes, the drinks are interesting and delicious and made with care. Yes, the staff are all outstanding and I see the same faces year after year. All of this is true, but The Basin is more than the sum of its parts. Every time it's special and new and familiar all at once. Every single time.

  This place has been around a long time. I love the seasonal special dishes! They are made with fresh ingredients and I have not had a bad one yet. My favorite is still the mushroom soup. Good for families and romantic date nights.

  Delicious food, nice ambiance. I had the truffle fries and the lamb shank. There are tasty non alcoholic cocktails on the menu, which is a plus for me.
