It's directly behind the parking of Cabrillo College.
So weekends and evenings are best. It's not the longest of hikes maybe 1 mile , but there are branched trails that are only loops back to original trail. Dogs need to be leashed like everywhere I. This area. I let my dog walk off leash with no issue. It is a great short walk. With wonderful views.
