Cat & Cloud Coffee

This C&C location is great; with views of the ocean, a huge cafe, and plenty of outlets, it's a great place to hang out, get work done, and drink delicious coffee. The staff is always super friendly and they work hard to make your experience great! Full disclosure, I'm and employee at C&C, but this is a truly honest review.

Incredible experience! The staff was friendly, their cafe is clean with tons of natural light and their coffee was delicious! I even ordered the savory toast, it exactly what I was looking for! I'll be back!

What a delightful cafe!

We stopped here early on a Saturday morning and the place was quite empty. It got quite busy in an hour with a lot of local families stopping here.

Service is excellent! The baristas explained the different coffees well and even gave us little samples to try before we made our decision. I really appreciate that, because it makes it so much easier to invest in a big mug of coffee if you can taste a few sips first.

We sampled the Night Shift dark roast, The Answer, Ethiopia and Costa Rica. I liked the Night Shift the most. We got a mug to have here and will pick up a packet of the beans to take home. I also tried a Cappuccino and while the espresso was good, I liked the brewed coffee more.

The food is excellent as well. We got the Savory Toast, which is a crunchy toast topped with garlicky lemony beet hummus and avocado. The bread itself is tasty and the hummus is incredible. Definitely try this! They also have a bunch of pastries sourced from a local bakery. We had the savory galette with goat cheese and roasted acorn squash. The pastry is just melt-in-the-mouth goodness with flavorful toppings. The other toasts and oatmeal options on the menu looked very interesting. The coconut creme and berries chia-oat porridge is delicious and creamy. Only piece of feedback is that I wish the fruits were layered with the chia/oat rather than just topped.

I'm loving the vibe and ambience here. It's bright and airy, cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of seating and some cool music. We have lost track of time and are completely enjoying our morning here reading, working and observing the local crowd of Aptos.

The staff sets Cat & Cloud apart from the rest. The coffee is great but the vibe and hospitality keeps me coming back every time I’m in town. Chris and Jared don’t just talk about the importance of a good staff. They hire people who are passionate about giving the customer an amazing experience when stepping into the shop.

I’ve been a Cat & Cloud fan for a while now. So of course I had to try their new location. As usual they didn’t disappoint. The new spot is awesome. Service is great and friendly, and coffee is delicious. Their food/pastries options are great too.
