(June 22, 2019, 3:25 pm)What a perfect setting to relax and celebrate our anniversary. Beautiful gardens and sitting areas. The fresh eggs from their hens and the opportunity to pet and from donkeys was an amazing surprise. Just loved it.

(September 19, 2018, 6:46 pm)My husband and I had a relaxing and absolutely lovely stay at the Hartman Inn. It had everything we needed and is so beautiful! We rent space on airbnb in New York City and were very impressed with this rental! The cottage is so clean and feels very spacious and open. We really enjoyed the layout and all the light! It was so magical to step outside in the morning and see the redwood trees and the absolutely STUNNING property. There is a quiet sitting area right outside for relaxing and eating, and a fully stocked kitchen inside with everything you need (we cooked most of our meals in the cabin and weren't missing a thing). The animals are also a real treat:). And we were so impressed with how well cared for the animals are! I have volunteered at urban and rural farms and can say these animal areas are immaculate with space to roam. It is clear that a lot of care and up keep going into this space.
The bed was very comfortable allowing us to get great sleep. There is plenty of closet space which was perfect as we were attending a wedding and needed to hang our clothes, along with dresser drawers clean and ready for use. We didn't have time to use it but there is even a spacious sitting area with a large TV and some fun books on the coffee table.
The town of Boulder Creek is close by and fun to walk around, also convenient if you need anything from the drug store or grocery store!
I really can't say enough how beautiful this cabin and surrounding area is. The host Tamara has done magical things with the property inside and out. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in the Santa Cruz Mountains, I HIGHLY recommend the Hartman Inn! -

From the outside the main house looks very fine – but entering the garden it gets even better; it is like another world with donkeys, an adorable little pig and the friendliest hosts. We will recommend this place to everybody who finds comfort in playing cards, making pancakes and drive short trips to big trees or watching whales.

The house is very generously equipped in all respects, and if you are not big on eating out, the kitchen has ample utilities and space for cooking a meal, etc. Beautiful location surrounded by trees and so close to...
