“Tucked away park in a neighborhood of Boulder Creek with a swimming hole with rope swing. There's a grassy area in front of a covered pavement area where bands were playing when I visited for a local radio show fundraiser and performance day. Small section of tables is off to a side. There is a water shower feature to rinse off if you want for after a swim in the creek. Beautiful, tall redwood and assorted oak trees surround the park.”

“I wish there were more than 5 stars available here! I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Joyce and Gordon Rudy for the purchase of our new home. From our very first contact they were incredibly professional, friendly, helpful, and they brought more knowledge and experience to the table than we ever could have hoped for. When things got complicated with a potential house to buy, they were right there by our side - making multiple trips to city hall, getting the house re-assessed while it was in escrow to ensure we’d be in good shape with the technicalities, helping us through the grueling permit process, the list goes on and on. When our first loan fell through, they helped us find a new one. When we were confused about legalities, they sat and explained everything clearly until we felt completely comfortable. When we found out a tree had caused issues with the foundation of the house, they had a tree service there the next day and all the info we needed from city hall to get it removed just a few hours later, and all this while we were off visiting friends! After months of hard work on their parts, we ran into some ugly complications with the sellers. Where I’d have expected any realtor in their right mind to still push us toward the sale, they did quite the opposite, advising us with the same level of care and trustworthiness I would expect from a close friend or family member. In the end, we were able to work through the complications, but again, only due to Joyce and Gordon’s extraordinary persistence and expertise. To give an example of the degree to which they know their trade - at a certain point we were working with someone in Planning at city hall and I asked the woman a question. She started to answer, paused, and then said “Actually, to be honest it seems that Joyce here knows a lot more about how this all works than I do, so Joyce, would you mind sharing what you think about this?” From the search for a home to the negotiations to the loan process and right through closing, we felt we were in better hands than we would have thought possible. Even now, weeks after the purchase was completed, and long after they’ve completed their professional obligations working with us, Joyce and Gordon have remained just as available to answer questions and help us ensure we’re doing everything necessary to move quickly through the permitting process for our renovations.
